A large meeting of local government officials, scholars and business leaders dedicated to the establishment of a nano center in Ulyanovsk region took place at Ulyanovsk State University on February 4. more

On February 1, USU representatives took part in the opening ceremony for a new IT competences center, which will be hosted by the regional state-run enterprise “Electronic Ulyanovsk”. The ceremony coincided with the launch of a “Microsoft” sponsored initiative aiming to foster computer literacy among the general population. more

«Tradition», a folk dance group of USU choreography students, went on their first visit to the People’s Republic of China. During their two-week trip in late December and early January, the group gave 9 performances in 6 Chinese cities: Beijing, Xian, Shenyang, Qunling, Hangzhou and Hefei. more

On January 21, the student and faculty choir of Ulyanovsk State University took part in a festive gala concert held at the Bulgarian Embassy in Moscow to mark the close of Bulgaria Days in Russia. more
