USU holds New students welcome party

On September 25, the USU youth policy department and student government held an annual New students welcome party at one of the largest concert and art venues in Ulyanovsk, Lenin Memorial Center.

The event kicked off with a formal ceremony where newcomers to the university community were welcomed by student leaders and representatives of the USU administration.

The fun-filled activities included contests, games, performances by top USU singers and dancers. The audience was entertained by the most popular city DJs and USU acting majors, who distributed “attendance waivers” for the next day of classes.

The evening culminated in 1st year students taking a freshmen oath, pledging to be diligent in their studies and active in community life.
