Oxford Russia Fund awards scholarships to top USU students

On December 23, 119 humanities students were ceremoniously presented scholarship certificates of the Oxford Russia Fund, which has collaborated with Ulyanovsk State University for the last three years.

ORF scholarships, which are valid for one academic year, are granted on a competitive basis to those who have demonstrated excellent academic performance, strong research potential and active involvement in social activities.

«This money is a great help to those who are interested in research», said an honor recipient, 4th year economics student Vladimir Krylov. «A regular scholarship paid by the state is not enough to buy needed books, discs and other resources, which are very expensive. Besides, this certificate is proof of your academic accomplishment».
